7 Days / 6 Nights: Samburu / Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara

Pick up, after a short safari briefing, you will drive north of Nairobi passing through the Equator and the majestic Mount Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. Check in at a Lodge. After lunch you will have some time to relax before you go for an evening game drive. The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro river. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the reserve. Come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend another day with both morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The main attractions are the resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast and morning game drive, depart to Sweet Waters. You should be arriving in the afternoon in time for an evening game drive. Enjoy different optional activities like game viewing, walking safaris, or even night game drives. There is also an option of a visit to chimpanzee sanctuary.  Dinner and overnight will be in a lodge.

After the breakfast check out the Lodge and on your way have the morning game drive as you drive to Thompson Falls, stop here for few minutes and then head to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. After the lunch you will proceed for the afternoon game drive. Explore the park till when you will return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After the breakfast check out the lodge as you do your final game drive and head to Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch and thereafter proceed for the game drive. This afternoon game drive will offer you one of the African magnificent game drive which will bring you to the Big five best know in the geographic documentary. The game drive ushers you to the Africa Sun set with the beauty of the weather. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After your breakfast at the lodge, proceed for the game drive. The  whole day will be spent in exploring this amazing game reserve which has become the world 7th wonders. This day will take you all the way to the Mara River where the great migration normally takes place where you will witness millions of wildebeest cross the Crocodile invested river, you will also have an opportunity to take the photo at the border between Masai Mara and Serengeti since both reserves share the common border. Spent the whole day in search of the Big Five. Then after exploring the reserve start driving back to the lodge for dinner overnight stay at your lodge.

Nairobi After breakfast, embark on your return journey to Nairobi and dropped off at your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Evening transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
