3 Days / 2 nights – Mara Flying Safari

This 3 days Flying Masai Mara Safari is ideal for travelers intending on visiting Masai Mara while wanting to avoid the 5 to 6 hour road trip from Nairobi. Instead we can offer a flight package Safari with a one hour flight from Wilson airport in Nairobi taking you to Masai Mara. The flight is on a light aircraft ranging in seating from 15 to 40 passengers depending on the airline booked and passenger loads. Upon arrival in Masai Mara a Driver-Guide and vehicle are waiting to receive you for start of Safari. Passenger baggage is limited to 15 kilos per passenger. These fly – in Safaris in Kenya are usually conducted as group tours meaning your Safari vehicle will not be on private basis unless we specially request for an exclusive vehicle at extra cost. Fly back to Nairobi after spending 2 nights / 3 days in Masai Mara.

Day 01: Masai Mara

Depart on your scheduled morning / afternoon Flight from Wilson Airport to Masai Mara. On arrival at the Air Strip in Mara, you will be met and transferred to your lodge. Arrive for lunch. Early afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon game drive in the reserve – home to the “Big Five” elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, hippo, impala, gazelle and numerous other wildlife including may hundreds of species of birds. Return to your Lodge at sundown for Dinner & Overnight.

Day 02: Masai Mara

On this morning, you will be awakened at dawn and after a cup of tea or coffee you will set out on an early morning game drive. The Mara is magical in the morning: the birds are singing, the morning air smells fresh and cool and the wildlife is just waking up to greet the day. Zebra’s frolic and greet each other, a pair of jackals prance through the grass in search of mice or a rabbit, baboons chatter noisily and curious giraffe watch you as they nibble on their breakfast of acacia leaves. You may even come upon a family feeding together on last night’s kill, or a leopard snoozing in a tree. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous buffet breakfast. Lunch. Late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 03: Departure to Nairobi

Early morning game drive and breakfast, transfer to the airstrip by the lodge for 1100hrs flight to Nairobi. Met on arrival and transfer to JKIA for departure flight or to a Nairobi Hotel.
